HMNS at Sugar Land is open during the school year Thursday through Sunday 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Private groups and field trips may book a visit on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, based on the size of the group.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land has expanded the embrace of the HMNS family. Conveniently located within sight of Highway 59, the Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land offers fascinating science exhibitions, including five permanent exhibit halls and memorable special exhibits, sure to appeal to all ages.

We think every day is a great day to visit the museum, but if you enjoy a particularly peaceful museum visit, the best time to visit is right when the museum opens during the week on Thursdays and Fridays.
